If you read my post about my broken foot, then you know that I have been wearing a cast for about ten days which was supposed to come off on Saturday 11th Feb, just in time for Valentine's day. I went to the hospital to get my awful plaster of paris cast removed today and get another xray and the good news is I now have a nice comfortable bright blue cast. The bad news is that my injuries haven't healed much and I have to wear it for another three weeks! There goes my February. Guess I should take inspiration from Jessie J and call myself Junie J now (broken foot post reference)

No. I'm awesome.

2. What is your biggest fear?

Cockroaches

3. If you could change anything about yourself, what would you change?

I would not change one thing, I'm greedy so I'd change two! I would make sure I was taller and had straight hair. If its a choice between the two, then the hair!

4. What is your addiction?

Chocolate cake and Marlboro Lights. A few years ago it was Coca Cola but I got over it.

5. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I honestly have no clue! Hopefully very happy, rich and successful.

6. Why and when did you start blogging?

I started blogging in 2008 because I used to read many fashion blogs and decided that I should start documenting my ideas and sharing stuff about myself and my interests with the world. However, eventually my choice of topics diversified from fashion to food to film to video games and even cats!

7. What is your worst habit?

I'm almost always late, in fact I bring new meaning to the term 'fashionably late' because by the time I arrive, its probably out of fashion! I'm also really slow for the first hour after waking up in the morning so if I need to hurry up I just cant. I guess my brain and body signals have some major talking to do because they just cant connect with each other well enough for the first hour every single day.

8. If you had one year left to live, what would you do?

I would travel the world, party my bum off and do lots of crazy stuff!

9. What is your biggest wish?

For a wishing ring ;)

10. How do you find your inspiration?

I find inspiration from everywhere! Right from the internet to movies I watch to books/magazines I read to things I see on the street.

I'm so awesome I can't describe myself in one sentence. No, actually, I just don't know what to write.

I really like Katy Perry, she has a fabulous voice, bubbly personality and her look always screams fun. Katy Perry isn't just about the music. The pop star is a performer in every sense of the word. From her retro pinup girl outfits to her bright latex dresses to her hair to her ever changing rainbow hued hair, she is not afraid to experiment. Yet, she does it in a way where it is actually wearable and not as over the top as Lady Gaga or Nicki Minaj. Her pop vocals surprisingly go well with her cool, retro-inspired pinup costumes when she's performing and when it comes to the red carpet, she dons something which is either glamorous or something entirely unexpected, like the light-up gown she wore at the Met Gala. Another thing I love about her is that she embraces her voluptuous body and dresses in a way which totally works for her body. I personally love wearing fitted short dresses like these as they work for my body type really well.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo : Must Watch Movie

I finally watched the English version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo yesterday and what a movie it was! For those of you who still haven't heard of it, it is based on a best selling Swedish crime novel of the same name by Steig Larrson and was made into a Swedish film in 2009 which was a huge hit and widely acclaimed. The story is extremely interesting, essentially a suspense thriller where Rooney Mara really steals the show as she plays the title role of the fiercely unconventional and darkly kooky Lisbeth Salander.

The film stars also stars Daniel Craig as Mikael Blomkvist and tells the story of a man's mission to find out what has happened to a girl who has been missing for 40 years, and who may have been murdered. Rooney Mara has done a brilliant job in the role of an androgynous, asocial, bisexually active loner who makes a living as a computer hacker. Her appearance has been drastically altered to fit into the character of the chain smoking biker babe. The sweet faced pixie-like Mara had her eyebrows bleached, her hair chopped with sides shaved , her hair dyed black and her lip, brow, nose, and nipple pierced for the role. The film is nominated for five Academy Awards, including one for Rooney Mara for Best Actress. So go watch it now!

This is stale news by now but H&M made an entire clothing line for the movie in collaboration with the film's costume designer Trish Summerville. As expected, it is based on the film's dark goth-punk styled heroine. The collection is edgy with the color palette being black, grey, worn white or dark red, The 30-piece collection has the dark urban feel that defines her character, with some fabulous looking leather jackets, hoodies, slouchy vests, skinny jeans, leather trousers and cool battered baseball boots. I personally love punk and goth influences so I really like the collection.

Broken Foot!

I hurt my leg pretty bad two weeks ago on holiday and got a wrong opinion from a doctor who said my x ray report was fine. So I went about my business limping everywhere for two whole weeks as the swelling and pain reduced greatly. Now my workplace is really close to my house and transportation is a bit tricky for such a short distance so I would ~~walk~~ limp back home everyday for a whole week when I started feeling that something is really wrong with my foot because it should not take this long to heal. So over the weekend I went to see my mum who lives in Pune and decided to go back to a hospital for a second opinion. And upon getting an x ray, guess what the results were? I have not one, not two but three fractures on my toes right in the middle of my foot. They've put it in a cast for the next two weeks so I am pretty disabled and need to drag myself around everywhere at the speed of a mile an hour. I've already had the same foot in a cast before as I had a broken bone on the same foot about five years ago but for some reason, this time the cast is really annoying me. However, my mum was really sweet and took me shopping the next day to cheer me up and got me a fabulous faux fur scarf from the French brand Promod. As bummed as I am about the cast, I was looking around for relevant fashion inspiration while being injured and came across Jessie J, the spunky and fabulous singer who had a broken ankle last year and wore a cast for four long months. David Koma is a young London based fashion designer who won the Harrods Design Award with the industrial, architectural and sci-fi inspired designs of his first collection. His strong individual style have already been noticed by the fashion world and his creations have been worn by Cheryl Cole, Rihanna, Kylie Minogue and Beyonce. He even designed an exclusive five piece line for Topshop earlier last year. His SS12 collection remained fiercely tailored, with flashes of tropical colours - lemon, fuschia, and turquoise - and embellished with iridescent Perspex discs designed in collaboration with jewellery designer Sarah Angold. This is one Koma you don't wanna wake up from.

~ I love playing video games and watching horror films and gory violent disturbing sick films. In fact, I only prefer watching such films and watch normal movies only when I run out of my psycho movies. Yeah, I'm quite a guy
~ I have obsessive compulsive delete disorder. I call myself Delete Queen. Read an email? Delete. Read a message? Delete. Finished watching a movie? Delete. Finished a video game? Delete.

I've been wearing glasses since I was thirteen but I always hated the way I look in them and they never really went much with the way I dress. So soon after I turned sixteen, I switched to contact lenses. But since I started working last year and spending long hours sitting in an air conditioned environment in front of the computer I started wearing glasses to work and felt the need to find chic glasses. Because I think its a little ridiculous to go to the grocery store or pharmacy or even to the movies in a brightly or boldly color blocked outfit. What is the solution? When it comes to style, there are no rules, but there are definite basics. The first and most important step to developing style is confidence. The kind of confidence that tells others that you respect yourself, love yourself and dress up for yourself and nobody else. You are your own muse. A true style icon breaks the rules and ignores the trends, and she has mastered these ten basics. Here are ten basic guidelines that all fashionable and fantastic people know -

❤ basic 1
how to edit

How many times have you looked at your closet at thought 'I have nothing to wear' even if it is full of clothes? If you're like me, then you've probably thought so a million times. The key is to own items that make you feel good about yourself. So toss everything you haven't worn for a year because you probably never will wear it again. At the same time also learn to edit your shopping by visualizing a look or an item that you need or will work with your wardrobe/lifestyle.

invest in the bones

The bones of your wardrobe are the essentials that complement almost anything and never go out of style. These staples transcend time, trends and travel. They can go from day to night, season to season and can still be work five years from now. Everyone will have a different list of bones according to their style but some basics according to me are

tops in neutral colors - It could be a shirt, a tee or a tank. These can be layered, dressed up and down depending on the season and where you're going.

little (Any color) dress - I do not believe in the little black dress being a staple. Why? Frankly, because the whole world patronizes little black dresses. Whether its vintage, thrifted, high street or designer a LBD will look like any other LBD. So I suggest you to experiment with other colors like white, gray, brown, blue or even yellow or red if you're bold!

bags - Something that matches with a lot of our outfits and shoes and is comfortable to carry around.

shoes - I'm sure you will all agree with me that shoes can make or break an outfit. Make sure you buy shoes that are beautiful but comfortable. I have bought lots of gorgeous shoes that were either uncomfortable or eventually ripped at the seams because of a bad fit.

well fitting pants - I do not believe in jeans as a staple either because I personally do not find them very appealing. Sure, they are great for a casual look and I guess 80% of the world's population swears by them but I personally love corduroys! Also, if you look around, most fashionable people usually center a look around pants which are not jeans.

find a good tailor

A good tailor is like a good pair of shoes - necessary, worth every penny and capable of making you look 10 pounds thinner. If you have a perfect body, every thing will look good on you. But honestly, we all have different bodies and not every garment we purchase will give us the most flattering fit. But a little tweaking here and there can make your outfit fabulous, all thanks to the tailor. I find a tailor in every city I live in who gets used to seeing my face at least once a month. I actually have a friend who teases me for my 'dates' with the tailor.

the power of accessories

Miniskirts and skinny jeans will betray you in a heart beat once you put on 5 pounds. But your accessories - shoes, scarves, necklaces, bags - will stand you through thick and thin. They will pull together and outfit for you and update your wardrobe without spending lots of money. Stylish women know how to cosy up to one accessory. Jackie O and her sunglasses, Audrey Hepburn and her scarf. Just make sure you don't go overboard with them. Too much of a good thing can turn into a bad thing very quickly.

be creative

Style is all about unusual combinations. If you mix the casual with the elegant, the soft with the hard, the glamorous with the comfortable, it will always produce chic results. It's what will make you look different and interesting, which is the hallmark of a stylish woman.

the utmost importance of shoes

Like I said before shoes can make or break an outfit. A great pair of heels is a powerful thing - it can change your mood, your posture ; it can make a boring outfit fabulous in an instant and it always makes you look taller and thinner. You can never have enough high heels. If people tell you differently, smile politely and walk away. Just make sure you get pedicures as chipped toe polish and cracked heels are a big no no.

don't be a fashion victim

Just because something is in fashion at the moment, if it does not look good on you, it is not necessary for you to wear it. It has happened many times I have walked into a stores where the assistant shows me something and says - Why don't you try this? This is very in. I try hard not to sound like a bitch and say - Sorry I don't really care if it is in. Its tough to say that without sounding nasty but I try to say it with a sweet smile ( I'm sure it still doesn't work and the assistant probably curses me when I'm on my way out )
For example, leggings are always trendy and look great when worn well but thanks to my body type, unless I lose a few inches on my thighs, I look terrible in them.

it's not about the money

Fashion is expensive. Style is not. Some of the most stylish girls are certainly not the wealthiest and often girls with less money understand style the best. Maybe its because they consider their purchases more carefully and perfect the art of mixing expensive items with cheaper finds. Or maybe because they know where to splurge and where to save.

buy with drama

But what is truly fantastic. Spend your money on one-of-a-kind, dramatic pieces. You know one when you see one. You fall in love with it immediately. You know you look good in it and everyone else knows you look good in it.
Or if you are creative enough to spot potential, buy it and modify it to make it unique. I do this a lot. For example, the dress I'm wearing in this picture (link) was a white top that was way too long to look normal. So I added fabric to convert it into a dress. I kept it that way for two years till I got bored and dyed it black last month. And voila, I now have a new black lace dress :)

❤ basic 9
imperfect is perfect

You don't need to be perfectly put together all the time, as if you're going for a photoshoot. You do not need a perfectly matched style and should learn to break the rules. Have fun and let your hair down. If you're comfortable in what you're wearing, that's all that matters. When a woman embraces her “imperfections” they can become her greatest strengths, definers of her character and spirit. When she plays up her weakness and draws you to her flaws, she makes them special, attractive and even enviable.

Its been a while since I did a beauty post and recently I got myself a lot of goodies. So let me show you some products I've been using on a daily basis lately. I am a very minimal makeup kinda person. My daily makeup just consists of eyeliner and lip balm.

Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Black

I was a MAC smolder kohl girl for two years but the humidity of Mumbai got to me as the product would smudge a bit in spite of lasting all day. Eventually, I discovered the joys of gel eyeliner. Maybelline eyestudio lasting drama gel eyeliner is the best eyeliner I have ever found. It stays put all day. Doesnt smudge even when I wash my face and can be used under the eye too. And pretty obviously, Maybelline being a very pocket friendly brand, it costs less than half of what MAC costs.

Shiesedo Accentuating Color Stick in Peach

I just have one word for this product. Its brilliant! I've been using this blush for a really long time now but I finally decided to write about it because this product is really underrated and I'm sick of girls cooing over Nars and Mac. The texture is creamy but when applied, it dries to a glowy powdery finish. It never looks fake, cakey or greasy. Another great thing is that it is multipurpose and can be used on eyes, face, cheek and lips. Its expensive but the quantity is worth it. This shade is very versatile and works well with both warm. Absolutely, positively the best all-purpose blush color ever.

Softsoap Body wash in Raspberry Sorbet & Almond Blossom

This moisturizing body wash has a fabulous yummy and refreshing raspberry fragrance and makes bath time a treat. There is a hint of almond blossom which is quite nice too. Usually, gel based body washes don't leave skin softer but this product is surprisingly very moisturizing though it cleanses at the same time. Its fragrance lingers on skin even after a shower and it doesn't smell overly sweet and sickening unlike Body Shop products.

Schwarzkopf Gliss Liquid Silk Leave-in Conditioner

Being a marketing student, I know the power of packaging. And though I know packaging does not necessarily guarantee a good product, I still feel extremely attracted to well packaged products. When I saw this bottle in the beauty store, I couldn't resist the shimmery pearly pink reflective packaging of this product. Very thankfully, it is a great leave in conditioner which is not too heavy and not too light. It smells great too and has a spray nozzle head.

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm in Grape

Once again, a case of cute packaging which got me lusting after this one. When baby lips launched, I checked out all the flavours and shades and somehow, the color combination of this one's packaging caught my eye. I did read reviews before ordering it. Very thankfully, it is a decent lip balm which smells wonderful, giving off a slightly sweet grape scent and gives my lips a subtle purplish tinge. The formula is moisturizing and hydrating but not sticky. Maybelline has quite a few flavors in this range so check them out before buying.

Betty Barclay Chic

This perfume was a gift from my cousin who lives in London and is quite a long lasting and unique fragrance. Betty Barclay is a German designer and this is from her perfume line. Its got a floral, woody, powdery smell and is quite an elegant fragrance which can be worn both in the day and night. It has initial fresh feminine notes combine with very subtle fruity hints of bergamot and blackcurrant. The base notes with vanilla, sandalwood and heliotrope.

New clothes, shoes and bags are obviously happiness enduring, but a new haircut can uplift your mood, spirit and appearance to a whole new level. Its incredible and never fails (unless your stylist has done a bad job. That happened to me once and I looked like a disaster for a long time) I got the inspiration to write this post because I had the same boring straight long hairstyle for over a year now and on new years eve, four days ago, I decided to start the new year with a new hairstyle and got a haircut. And trust me, I feel like a superstar now! I'm a super fool and I forgot to click a picture of new years eve when I just got my haircut and hair styled. My stylist had really set it so well I felt like a million bucks and I still feel awesome! For those of you who want a new look in the new year, I'd suggest a change of hairstyle! The only reason why everyone looks so amazing on television, films and the red carpet is because their hair is perfectly styled. Hello! Since I never do outfit posts because of the lack of a camera man I decided to hang my stuff up last night and take some pictures of some of the favorite items of closet. All of these were purchased in the past couple of months. And finally I have once picture of my new haircut. I wasn't wearing any make up so I got camera shy and hid my face. If you wanted to see what my hair looked like before click here. It was actually a couple of inches longer when i left it open. But because I feel hot all the time, I seldom left it open and it would usually be tied up in a bun. So the other day when I was just about to get my haircut it struck me that when I never leave it open and find it so annoying to handle, what is the point of having it so long? And then I asked my hairdresser to go snippity snip. And voila! Of course, its still way longer than it looks in the photo, half my hair is on the other side, and it still beyond my chest.

Today, I will share some of my favorite recipes with you. These are tried and tested by me and the results are oh-so-yum. So for all of you fashionistas who like to cook, please try them out and let me know how it turns out!

Simple Spicy Chicken Fried Rice

This is an incredibly simple recipe which I invented when I was 19 and had just learned how to cook. Its spicy and yummy and is a blend of Indian and Italian flavors!

What you need: Cooked rice, Small strips of boneless chicken, Green chillies, Oregano, Chilly Flakes, Chopped Onions, Oil

What to do: Heat the oil and add lots of chopped onion and green chillies. Once they are brown, add chicken strips. After the chicken has cooked, add Salt, Oregaono and Chilly Flakes. Soon after, add the Rice. Add more Salt, Oregano and Chilly Flakes. Let it fry together for a few minutes. And you're done!

Super Simple Lasagna

I made lasagna for the first time of my life just one week before christmas and it turned out yummy! This is definitely my favorite Italian dish and comfort food.

What you need: Lasagna noodles, Pasta Sauce ( I used Ragu ), Mozzarella, Parmesan, Ricotta, Olive Oil, Mushrooms, Chilly Flakes, Oregano, Salt, Garlic, Ground Meat/Beef

What to do: Cook the lasagna for 8-10 minutes in water and a bit of olive oil to soften it and keep aside. Cook the ground meat with spices, garlic and olive oil till brown. Add pasta sauce and keep on flame for five minutes. Coat the bottom of the baking dish with olive oil and add a layer of lasagna noodles. Top it with tomato sauce and ground meat, mushrooms and with a mix of Parmesan and Ricotta. Put a layer of Mozzarella on top. Keep adding layers as you desire. Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes.

Paillettes

If you love bling and shimmer and sequins, then say hello to Paillettes. Paillettes are basically giant sequins that are used to embellish clothing, foowear or accessories. Oval or round are common shapes, but they are made in other forms too as you can see in the pictures below. They add serious bling to a garment, so this style is not for the faint hearted!

Contrary to sequins, paillettes have a hole near the top which allows them to dangle so they can be attractive for anyone who wants them to twirl as she spins or dances. They also give a mermaid look to a skirt, which I absolutely adore, as you can see in the picture below!

Bridesmaids was recommended to me by a 30 something guy friend who is married and has a little daughter who told me that it is really good. My first reaction was - Oh my god, a man liked a chick flick?
A few weeks later when I saw its review on Rottentomatoes.com, I realized that he was right, it had to be good.
Yes, I thought it was going to be a girly film. Boy, was I wrong.

Plot Synopsis:
Annie's life is a mess. But when she finds out her lifetime best friend Lillian is getting married to her boyfriend Doug, she must serve as Lillian's maid of honor. Though lovelorn and broke, Annie wants to make Lillian's wedding unforgettable. When she meets her fellow bridesmaids, she meets Helen - Doug's boss's perfect wife who is beautiful and filthy rich. The film now follows both of them trying to compete with each other to prove that she is the bride's best friend.

Bottomline:
This movie is raunchy, dirty, hilarious and has awesome grossout scenes and was a big hit! It just recently won a few awards also! If you haven't seen it yet, go get a DVD or download it asap. Also, if you're having a shitty day, this movie is the perfect pick-me-up.

Nicole Miller Resort Collection At The Collective

Designer Nicole Miller who has dressed stars like Angelina Jolie, Beyoncé Knowles and Katy Perry, launched her brand in India at The Collective at its store in the Palladium Mall, Mumbai through an exclusive Trunk Show. I hadn't feasted my eyes on some designer clothing for a while so this event was perfect for me. The event was attended by lots of actors and models. My friend actress Raima Sen was also at the event, looking fabulous in a Nicole Miller gown.

Nicole Miller's Resort collection was featured at the store and had a lot of shiny and gorgeous dresses.
The collection also showcased foiled denim, it is a technique of heat transfer where the foil is applied on the fabric resulting in some amazing tinsel looking jeans.

Ah, just two more days till payday!
I've been super broke and annoyed this month so I decided to do a rant post.

This is something I've always thought to myself but at the same time have never heard or read anyone ever discuss.

Now there are a zillion blogs that talk about the Fashion Police and Fugly clothes, but if you look beyond that, one major factor contributes to a bad outfit. And that is whether it it goes with your appearance/body type.

Now as much fashion is about expressing yourself and dressing according to your personality, the way you end up looking also matters greatly with your physical appearance.

I'm totally pro dressing in line with your personal style statement but honestly, for every chic girl on the street there are twenty (or more) who walk around like fashion disasters or end up looking extremely wannabe.

It is a common sight, especially in Bombay, to see a lot of girls who have Indianized features / hairstyles yet try to dress Parisian ala oversized pretty top, tailored pants, big belt / bag, fancy shoes and honestly, they do not look very nice that way.

Below I have a few celebrity examples who've gone wrong too.

My first example is Megan Fox. Look at the image on the left. She is mind blowingly beautiful, extremely sexy and has a body to die for. The glamorous Donna Karan gown she is wearing just adds to her appeal and make her look like a goddess.

The harem pants trend is not a very easy one to rock my ladies. So think carefully before you buy any because this is not an easy look to pull off.

Now moving aside to the gorgeous and super pretty Cheryl Cole (right) who is out to party, as you can tell from her sparkly heels, jewelry and hair.

But thanks to her satin pyjama suit, she looks like she got out of bed got ready and forgot to wear her party outfit and stepped out of the house.

Last season, sleepwear as outerwear was an upcoming trend. Fashion
biggies like Dolce & Gabbana attempted to start a pyjama trend and lots of stars religiously followed with disastrous results (See link here)

Thankfully, this trend couldn't make a global impact.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Do not follow trends blindly. You will end up looking like a fool, no matter how rich, famous or gorgeous you are.

I've had a strange variety of pets so far ( three cats, two rabbits, two squirrels, two goldfish ) all because I always wanted a dog. Basically, I wasn't allowed to get a dog so I got every other animal possible.

You've seen my black cat Tinkerbell in my past posts ( and here) Sadly, he ran away a few years ago, but is living happily in the neighbourhood and picking up the ladies. I know beause I've seen him around :)

I recently got hooked on to the television drama Revenge and it is fantastic! This ABC series is just so juicy and enticing and enthralling to watch that audiences are actually cheering on a person seeking to ruin someone else's life.

Set in the Hamptons, besides a kickass storyline, the show also boasts of a great designer wardrobe and all the ladies look really chic indeed.

The clothes that really caught my eye are those worn by the character Ashley, played by adorable Ashley Madekwe - who has an amazing personal style and her own great fashion blog Ring My Bell.

I've noticed some uber chic peplum dresses and fitted skirts with breezy tops on her in the show and can't wait to see what the show has in store for us in future, both story and fashion wise :)

I have an immense love for exaggerated shoulders and have a lot of tops that have frills or ruffles or giant flowers. I've started toning it down since 'the boyfriend' commented followed by a gesture pointing at his own shoulders as if something was growing from them saying - Why do your tops have so much over here?

So obviously, I tried to avoid trying this top but knew I would love it.

I tried to hide the ruffles with this lovely gray cardigan. According to me, long flowy cardis are a must have in any fashionista's wardrobe. They look relaxed and chic at the same time and can make any outfit look classy.

And now moving on the one of my favorites, how glam is this printed dress? Right from the print to the neckline to the fit, this dress is perfect for a casual day out, fun night out or lazy afternoon brunch.

The winner of the lot according to me is the leopard print dress with pointy shoulders. As i mentioned, the shoulders did the job for me and my childhood inclination for leopard print, see my post on leopard here or just scroll down below on this page.

This dress is glamorous and uber sexy without revealing too much skin.

I added this gorgeous satin black clutch (also from French Connection) to complete the look.

LBD. Obviously I had to try one of my former must haves - a little black dress. The addiction stopped when I realised that I have too many little black dresses. This dress is available in all black and in black and gray.

As you can see, the bust area of the dress is black while the shoulder detailing and rest are gray. And it fits like a dream. This dress is perfect for a nice dinner or any occasion where you wanna look posh!

This breezy cardi + striped knit vest and shorts combo is perfect for hot October days

I tried on both colors as I couldn't decide which one I liked more.

Found something to wear to work too. Super comfy black skinny fit pants and this really fab blue shirt which fits like a dream.

Once, again I tried the shirt in both colors as I have a overdose of blue going on in my wardrobe. I think this would be a good look for office, and that large bag seems perfect for stashing everything .

They have loads of stuff for men, including a newly launched line of shoes. Yeah, I never thought I'd ever bother looking at menswear but the shoes were all over the place and caught my eye. They seemed really classy so I would recommend this store to those of you who wanna gift the men in your life .

This jacket is an absolute favorite of mine. I walking out of the store when I saw it and I knew I had to see it again. Yes, it was almost love at first sight. Got it for my boyfriend :)

If you answered yes to any of these questions, and assuming that you did say yes to all of them, I shall give you a quick and yum recipe to make honey glazed popcorn at work or home or any other place where you spend a lot of time and fantasize about food! I know watching movies is a random point and kinda not related to work but it is related to the recipe so please forget about it and continue to read the recipe.

You will need :
Microwave
Microwave popcorn (butter flavor does the trick)
Honey
Spoon

Instructions:
Pop the bag in the microwave, let the popping happen. Once the pops stop, open bag, mix in a tablespoon or two of honey. Enjoy! It tastes quite a bit like caramel popcorn.

If you wanna add some more flavor and calories, try dunking in some peanut butter too!

Helpful Tip:
I just made this at work and finished it too ~ And from experience I should warn you that
if you want to be a 'lady' at work, eat it with a spoon or you can be Edward Messyhands and use your fingers. If you choose the second option, just be prepared to get weird stares from your colleagues :)
And for the record, I used a spoon.

Watch it alone at home with lights off and surround sound. I can guarantee you that Jumby will scare the shit out of you. Though he's just a little boy! I also like the concept of the unborn ghost aka the dybbuk.

Finally I started buying jewelry again this July. Ever since I turned seventeen, I started slowly disliking wearing jewelry. I went on a little shopping spree a few years later, but it all ended up in the bottom shelf of my cupboard till I started gifting all those trinkets to close friends ( I still have a necklace left from that lot, and its been lying unworn for about 4 years now )

On a little holiday last week, I happened to enter a trinket shop and saw the most amazing glittery teardrop pendant with and iridescent sparkle on its surface. The unique texture and color of the stone totally lured me into buying it! Later I found out that its a Druzy Quartz. And looks something like the picture here but mine is a much lighter shade of blue.

Later, I picked up a bejeweled headband from Accessorize similar to the style I always wanted.

On my actual wish list have been Nicole Richie's House Of Harlow Head Bands which are so totally gorgeous. I've been lusting after those for years.

Accessorize also had a lot of pretty necklaces and this gold elephant caught my eye and now happily lies in my closet. Am gonna rock this one with a white dress very soon!

Yeah I know this one came out two years ago but I've started it real late.... all because the Prince is really hot!!!

Since this one got an Epic rating and it is from Bioware, I had to give it a shot so here it goes. The combat is fun, the story's interesting too but I'm old fashioned and Dragon Age Origins rocks my world!

Ah, my all time favorite. I am desperately waiting for a sequel. I loved this game. This is the best game I've ever played. Story, Graphics, Gameplay, Music are all 10/10. The best part was the Romance option!!! Hehehe I'm a girl after all :)

After like ten years, I decided to play a driving game, so gave this one a shot. Was good fun racing some fancy souped up rides. But really tiring on the keyboard to continuously accelerate. I left out all the drift races though, since I'm too dumb to figure out how to use the handbrake and make the car drift.

Since I loved Bioshock, I had to play the sequel. It was a tad too disappointing and a bit repetitive. Nevertheless, I'm a sucker for the little sisters. How cute are they?? I hope Bioshock 3 brings some crazy new splicers and plasmids!

Spent the entire month of December partying the night away, shopping a lot and ended the year with a lovely holiday by the beach. Am still facing the damages cas I'm flat broke now. But happy :)

Last year, I had bought this cute black and white dress with a floral print and wore it around quite a bit. Then, exactly a year later, this August, after going through a couple of high fashion magazines I noticed that a lot of top designers had made black white & yellow dresses with a floral print. Voila, I got the inspiration. Went to a stationery shop, bought yellow fabric paint and just filled in the flowers and here I am, same dress, new look :)
